Aspartame has been marketed to the world as a sugar substitute and can be found on all types of soft drinks to diet. This can also be found on the product of artificial sweeteners. And widely used in food products and beverages as sugar substitutes. Aspartame is safe to be consumed, as long as we follow the Acceptable Daily Intake that has been defined, which is about 50 mg per kilogram of body weight per day.
